Tenterden is a town with a huge conservation area in the Ashford District of Kent, England. It stands on the advantage of the remnant forest The Weald, overlooking the valley of the River Rother. It had been an associate of the Cinque Ports Confederation. Its riverside today is not navigable to large vessels and its own position as a wool creation centre has been lost. Tenterden has several voluntary organisations, a few of which are the following, seven large or very old public houses within its area and has long distance walking and cycling routes within its boundaries.

14th Century heavily timbered wealden hall house restaurant at the heart on Tenterden offering great British food. Start for breakfast, morning caffeine, lunch and afternoon teas. All home-made dishes, desserts and cakes, freindly reliable staff.
Booked a table for 9 people & your dog for Sunday lunch. Good job we booked, the area was packed! 8 folks had roasts of varied meats and everything very good. Meat, 3 veg, roast potatoes & a Yorkshire pud with gravy. 1 folks had scampi & chips that was much less good as the roasts. Pudding wise between us we’d apple pie (excellent), sticky toffee, fudge brownie, cheesecake (very nice), and cheese & crackers. Again, all fantastic bar the cheese & crackers that was very simply & not a huge mixture of cheeses.
Overall a great lunch in what’s obviously an extremely popular, dog friendly pub.
Another great cafe/caffeine shop down Sayer’s Lane in Tenterden. ? My normal lunch or brunch this is actually the hot delicious chocolate, which is merely so comforting and the pastries and sandwiches are yummy too!

If you don’t usually eat along, begin by scheduling one meal weekly and improve the number when you are able.
